To: The Nevada Congressional Delegation
Subject: Pending legislation S1236/HR691 and H Res 230

I am Glenn Thomas. I maintain a website on behalf of the Nevada Section of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the National Organization for Amateur Radio. The purpose of this letter is to request your current positions on specific legislation that is now before Congress.

There are currently at least two items of pending federal legislation that Radio Amateurs (“Ham” radio operators) are interested in, S1236/HR691 and H Res 230. These are highlighted on the website at http://nv.arrl.org click on the “Pending Federal Legislation” button. As you will see, I intend to track your position on these and other legislation that is of interest to the Amateur radio community in Nevada.

In addition to your position on these current items, I would appreciate your informing me of any additional legislation that may be of interest to the Amateur radio community in Nevada. As our representatives in Congress, I consider this to be part of your job.

Thank you for your time and for your service.
